A collection of images to be recorded with photo camera was definitely enlarged by multimedia. Modern tools not only record the classic freeze-frame, i.e. a photograph, but also moving images and sound, allowing us to build a multi-layered expression/opinion affecting the recipient through various stimuli.

The current communication system operates largely via the screens of stationary equipment and has been recently moving to the screens of mobile devices. In such a situation, it is natural to search for an expression/message-building-system intended to "seduce" the user who uses new media.

In the last few years, the process of moving of daily, weekly and illustrated newspapers to virtual space has been observed, which results in a necessity for different way of preparing the materials. The monitor screen is closer to the recipient, the message passed via it should be not too long and attract an attention; person looking at the screen expects quick projects to be dynamically built and, of course, of interesting, eye-catching aesthetics.

Photocasts, a form of expression linking the still and moving images with the written and spoken word, are the respond to the needs of the media market, deal with various topics, from reportage-documentary and fashion-lifestyle to ambiguous but imagination- developing projects of purely artistic character The dynamics of this new form of expression suggests the future may belong to photocasts, provided they differ from classic photography, film and radio.

Presented, among others, will be works by: Krystian Bielatowicz, Adam Lach, Piotr Małecki, Maciej Nabrdalik and Albert Zawada.
